The P-Series Power Base (Model MKHB) features a 1/11 hp (70W) motor and has one speed. This all-electric power base is reliable and durable, engineered for years of maintenance-free service. The exterior is designed so that merely a damp cloth is needed to keep it clean. P-Series power bases have a number of features that make them useful in a wide variety of light-duty applications.

  • Available in  (115 VAC):
    • Units wired for 115 VAC are fitted with a US plug.
  • All units are available with our optional Safety Interlock System (SIS) that will not allow use of a power base unless the safety switch cord is attached to the hopper and the SIS lid is in place atop the hopper.
  • P-Series Power Bases work with any of our plastic Filler Units – F and FHP-Series.
  • Durable Lexan® polycarbonate housing.

NOTE: While the SFS and SRP-Series stainless pumps will fit on the P-Series power bases, they will not pump efficiently as these power bases are under-powered for the types of applications for which those specialized pumps are intended.

Key Functions

Normal Cycle

The amount of product to be dispensed can be set at the digital keypad. As the trip arm is pressed, the unit will cycle once to dispense the preset amount, then stop and reverse.

Automatic Cycle

This function eliminates the need to continually press the trip arm during multi-cycle applications. In this function, the amount dispensed and waiting time for comfortable, automatic use. The number of cycles can also be set so that the machine will stop after the prescribed doses have been dispensed.  Automatic cycling eliminates operator fatigue and improves productivity in repetitive, long-running jobs.

Continuous Dispensing

When selecting this function, the operator or a remote-triggering device, such as a photoelectric switch, determines the start and stop of the pumping action. This function is useful when a continuous stream of product is deposited on a conveyor or manually via a hose attachment.

Reverse

The reverse is needed to pull product back after a dispensing cycle is completed, which prevents dripping. Reverse can be adjusted to meet specific requirements.

All power bases can be triggered manually by the trigger switch, an optional foot switch or hose assembly, or your own photoelectric switch.
