The Lawrence Foods Instant Meringue Mix can be used to prepare a light, airy, and stiff meringue that is ideal for baking or for use as topping on desserts.
Lawrence Foods Instant Meringue Powder is a shelf-stable dry mix that comes packed in a 25 oz. pouch.
All you have to do is combine the powder with cold water to produce a light and airy meringue that will not weep.
Ingredients: "Sugar, Maltodextrin, Egg Whites. Contains Less Than 2% Of: Artificial Flavor, Cream Of Tartar, Gums (Agar, Locust Bean, Xanthan), Salt. Contains: Egg."
Step 1: add 32 fluid oz. Of cold tap water to a 20-quart mixing bowl. Add the contents of 1 pouch of instant meringue powder and mix with a wire whip on speed 1. Scrape bowl.
Step 2: whip on speed 3 for 5 minutes or until meringue forms a soft peak.
Step 3: bake at 375-400f until peaks brown.
