A floor mixer has a higher capacity than its countertop and stand counterparts, making it ideal for your heavy-duty mixing needs. These units are designed to sit directly on the floor, which means they won’t take up any valuable counter or preparation space. Each commercial floor mixer has a heavy base, so you don’t have to worry about it sliding around during use. The floor models usually start at 20 quarts and go to 80 quart mixing bowls.
