CHURRO PLUNGER FOR TYPE N
Surprise your customers with excellent Churros that are easy to make!
If you already have a donut fryer, the Churro plunger could be a great addition for you! This plunger gives you an entirely different product that will delight your customers. Churros are made with extra egg ingredient for a distinctive taste, they are easy to deposit and fry, and they are even easier to finish simply by tossing with sugar! This plunger produces a well shaped, well fried product. You can make Churros from 2 to 5 inches long (50 to 125 mm) by changing the dial setting on the depositor between 1 and 3.
The Churro plunger is only made for Type B or Type F depositor (not for Type N). There is only one plunger size. You will need a 2 inch (51 mm) cylinder if you do not already have one.
Plunger size, diameter 2 inches (51 mm)
STICK PLUNGER FOR TYPE N For Stick donuts
Stick donuts are simple to make with a Stick plunger. This plunger works exactly like any other plunger - batter is forced out of an opening. With a Plain Ring plunger, the opening is ring shaped. With a Ball plunger, the opening is round. With a Stick plunger, the opening is a SLOT.
A larger slot produces a wider and thicker Stick donut.
By turning the depositor dial setting up or down, you can make a longer or shorter Stick donut.
All stick plungers are 'special order', unless the requested size is in stock at time of order.
PLAIN PLUNGER FOR TYPE B/F/N
For Ring Donuts and 'Old Fashioned' donuts
The Plain plunger makes Ring donuts and Old Fashioned donuts, ready to be coated in your favorite sugars, glazes or icings.
Should you choose a 'Plain' or 'Star' plunger? Both make Ring donuts - the difference between them is in the 'Hole'. The Plain plunger is a bit wacky and unpredictable, and makes center holes with random shapes. The Star plunger is more stable and sensible, with a hole that's generally rounder, and it has a Star pattern around it. So it's up to you!
You will need a cylinder of the same size as your plunger.
If you have two plungers of the same size, you only need one cylinder.

FRENCH CRULLER PLUNGER FOR TYPE N
For French Cruller and French Cake donuts.
French Crullers are premium donuts made with a special 'eggy' mix that gives them a different taste and texture to other cake donuts. No box of donuts is complete without them! And they often price higher than other donuts.
French Cake donuts are made by the same plunger using regular cake donut mix. If you have no Crullers, then French Cake donuts are a good alternative.
You will need a cylinder of the same size as your plunger.
If you have two plungers of the same size, you only need one cylinder.

Plunger sizes, diameter (mm)
38.1, 41.3, 44.5, 47.6 or 50.8
For Ball Donuts, Donut 'Holes', Loukoumades, and Hushpuppies.
You can make a lot of cake donut 'Holes', in a very short time with this plunger and standard cake donut batter. You can also make Loukoumades and Southern Fried Hushpuppies with this plunger. Plungers can be ordered with 1, 2, 3, 4 or even 5 holes. How big your finished product will be depends on:
The size (diameter of the plunger".
The size of the holes in the plunger.
The number of holes in the plunger.
If you already have a 1¾ inch plunger and cylinder, then you can choose a 1¾ inch ball plunger, and use the cylinder you already have. The most efficient ball plunger is 2 inch because it can "push out" a lot of cake donut batter through the holes in the plunger. Three holes of ¾-inch diameter are common choices. There are many different choices of plunger size, hole diameter and number of holes possible.
As with all other cake donuts, you can increase or decrease the size of the finished donut using the dial setting on your Depositor, from 1 to 3. As your dial setting gets bigger, the batter will come out longer - like toothpaste coming out of a tube. The frying process will turn the batter into a round ball shape. If the dial setting is too big, the final product may become longer and slightly oblong shape. This is because batter is squeezed out of the holes, like toothpaste out of a tube.
STAR PLUNGER FOR TYPE N
For Ring Donuts with a star shape around the center hole.
The Star plunger makes Ring donuts and 'Old Fashioned' donuts, similar to the Plain plunger.
Should you choose the Star plunger or a Plain'plunger? The difference between them is in the center Hole.
The type N cylinder must match the plunger size. For example, a 1-1/2 inch plunger must always be used with a 1-1/2 inch cylinder. You can use all types of plunger with a cylinder of the same size. Used with Type N depositors.
